Partner Institutions
The MEng Programme of the University of Flensburg is closely connected with the Center for Sustainable Energy Systems. The goal of the Center for Sustainable Energy Systems is the research, development and implementation of long-term environment- and climate-compatible energy systems and energy technologies. The institute’s research spans the development of detailed solutions in the field of sustainable technologies to the development of consistent scenarios or strategies to obtain 100 % renewable energy systems at the local, regional and national scales.
The center is composed of different Professors from the University of Flensburg and the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. It is an interdisciplinary research and development center for answering of pressing questions concerning the necessary future development of our energy supply, especially in the context of anthropogenic climate change. The individual research and development know how of the involved Professors and scientists is bundled in this center to address those crucial questions.
