Gender balance in the status groups: Much movement in the scientific field, little progress within the administrative area

The CEWS ranking in conformity with the 2015 equality aspects

EUF achieved a lot in the matter of gender equality during the past years. Among others, this is proven by the latest two "University rankings in conformity with equality aspects" submitted by the Center of Excellence of Women in Science (CEWS):  Between 2009 and 2013 the proportion of women in professorships as well as in the non-professional scientific teaching staff could substantially be increased. The developments within the group of non-professional teaching staff between 2011 and 2013 are rewarded by a top position (No. 5!) compared to all other universities in the current CEWS ranking and even for professorships EUF ranks among the leading group – still ahead of CAU.
