CREST Status

The research center was founded on October 18, 2023.

The research profile, areas of responsibility and structure of CREST have been developed in terms of structure and content by two interdisciplinary working groups of the EUF since 2022. Since 2023, the Board of Directors has been working on the presence and organization of the center, supporting members in the promotion of early stage reasearchers and research, knowledge transfer and international networking. The first general meeting for the establishment of corresponding working groups and focal points of the founding phase took place on May 8, 2024. CREST is temporarily located in Riga 5 on the EUF campus and uses event rooms together with ZeBUSS and ICES.
