The non-profit association of promotion of EUM / EnWi is an amalgamation of former and current students studying the energy and environmental management (EUM) programme at the University of Flensburg and energy sciences (EnWi) at the University of Flensburg. The association represents an active network of students and graduates who are now involved in a wide variety of areas from industry to politics to research in the field of energy and the environment.
The support association EUM / Enwi creates a forum from which scientific lectures, information campaigns and actions on the subjects of energy and the environment are made possible. At regular intervals, for example, a journal is published in which current theses from the courses are collected. Current students and alumni also come together once per semester to exchange ideas about the course and the possibilities after graduation. In addition, the Förderverein has been organizing the EUM symposium since 2014 - a conference to which all former and current students are invited to exchange views on challenges and opportunities in connection with energy and the environment as part of a diverse program. The Alumni network is specifically strengthened through the activities of the Association and makes a valuable contribution to EUM study life and EUM alumni life.
Further information can be found on the website of the Association for the Promotion of Energy Sciences EUM / EnWi e.V.
The annual conference is a network meeting at which various actors from business, research and politics come together to discuss challenges and opportunities in connection with energy and the environment. As part of a two-day program that includes lectures and workshops as well as enough time for informal exchange and a dinner together, there is the opportunity for a unique, trusting exchange between current students and graduates.
The conference has been organized by the Association Energiewissenschaften EUM / EnWi e.V. since 2014.
