Imane Boukhatem is a young researcher preparing a Doctorate in the energy systems transitions at the University of Flensburg Center for Sustainable Energy Systems -ZNES. Imane is a sustainability advocate. She has represented the MENA region as a climate ambassador at GYCN and Student Energy, a global youth-led organizations empowering young people in to mitigate climate change and accelerate the transition to a sustainable and equitable energy future. Imane is enrolling in a research on the potential role of green hydrogen for the energy transition in North Africa.
