The educationlab@EUF is a cross-departmental unit of the Institute of Special Education, which serves to promote cooperation and innovation between science and practice. The main objectives of this third space are to support and further develop academic teaching, strengthen research and development and transfer knowledge, skills and technologies, particularly in the context of support services for people with disabilities or at risk.
The educationlab@EUF consists of two rooms of different sizes, which are equipped with extensive IT and video technology and enable simultaneous recording of social situations from different camera perspectives. This allows various projects to be realized, including
- the research of interaction quality in counseling or support situations,
- the observation of communicative processes for training purposes or
- the production of instructional videos, e.g. for the use of work equipment and visualization aids.
