Description
The Spanish Intensive Course A1 is suitable for learners without previous knowledge. It focuses on imparting initial basic knowledge of the Spanish language.
Through everyday conversation topics and situations (greetings and introductions, nationality and language, addresses and numbers, etc.), fundamental knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary will be taught.
In the development of lexical fields, the following topics are primarily addressed: the Spanish alphabet, personality traits and hobbies, tourism and vacations, means of transportation and seasons, colors, clothing items, and objects.
The grammar focuses include: numbers, forms of subject pronouns, definite article, demonstrative pronoun, noun, gender and number, possessive pronoun, describing holiday habits, indicative present, direct and indirect object pronouns. Indicative present of regular verbs, irregular verbs, adjectives, gender of nouns, question words.
The course consists of 60 teaching units and takes place three weeks before the start of lectures. It is designed for participants to achieve level A1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
