Description

The Spanish language course A1 is suitable for learners with no prior knowledge. It focuses on imparting basic knowledge of the Spanish language.

Through everyday conversation topics and situations (greetings and introductions, nationality and language, addresses and numbers, etc.), basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary will be provided.

The course covers the following main topics when developing vocabulary fields: the Spanish alphabet, character traits and hobbies, tourism and vacation, means of transportation and seasons, colors, clothing items, and objects.

Grammar focuses include: numbers, forms of the subject pronoun, definite articles, demonstrative pronouns, nouns, gender and number, possessive pronouns, describing holiday habits, indicative present tense, direct and indirect object pronouns.

The course runs with 4 semester hours per week and is designed so that participants can complete the A1 level according to the European Framework within one semester.

Regular and active participation is required for successfully completing the course. Completing homework is also necessary to practice and reinforce what has been learned.

The B1.1 Spanish course is suitable for participants with solid basic knowledge who have successfully completed the A2 course.

Course Content: This course provides advanced basic knowledge of the Spanish language, which is taught through topics and situations from everyday conversations. For example, you will learn to understand newspaper articles or radio broadcasts, take notes during a lecture, or write contributions in a discussion forum through role-play discussions.

Grammar topics will be reviewed, and everyday and specific speaking situations will be practiced.

Course Description: Spanish B1 (Extended Basic Knowledge)

The Spanish B1 course is suitable for learners at an advanced beginner level. The course builds on the A2 course.

Through everyday conversation topics and situations, the course aims to expand advanced basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary. The course will cover the following main areas: everyday conversations at work, at university, conversations with friends, etc.

Grammar topics include: the use of the simple conditional and present subjunctive; speculations about various future scenarios or expressing wishes and requests; different uses of the past indicative (especially: preterite, imperfect, and pluperfect); complex use of (in)direct and prepositional objects; use of paraphrases for a creative and variable style; expression of tastes, feelings, preferences, values, and opinions to contrast them; comparison of objects and their evaluation; impersonal and involuntary forms and description of processes with the passive voice; question sentences and indirect sentences; expansion of vocabulary in the areas of culture, society, education, and economy.

The course takes place with 4 semester hours per week during the lecture period and is designed so that participants can complete the B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

Regular and active participation is required for successfully completing the course. Completing homework is also necessary to practice and reinforce what has been learned.

Cómo construir un argumento y cómo identificar falacias, investigación continua de temas modernos, políticos y de la sociedad.

El curso es ideal para las personas que deseen practicar el idioma español y mejorar su gramática, vocabulario y conocimiento de diversos temas relevantes a nivel mundial.

De momento se está explorando la posibilidad de invitar hispanohablantes a referir y participar en diversos temas.
