Amanda Domingos received a PhD in Political Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil, 2023). During her PhD, she was a visiting scholar at the Oxford University (2022). Her research focuses on comparative politics, with a special focus on distributive politics and multilevel dynamics of public policy. Her primary region of interest is Latin America, with a special focus in Brazilian Municipalities.

At EUF, Domingos will contribute to the ACCESS project as a postdoctoral researcher, where she will develop a comparative analysis of the role of institutional features and admissions processes in unequal access to higher education.

Before receiving my PhD, Domingos earned a master’s (2019) and bachelor’s degree (2016) in Political Science, both from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Recife, Brazil).
