Jan Kühnemund completed his PhD at Berlin University of the Arts, Germany. He also holds an MA degree in Political Science, Visual Media and English. From 2010 to 2018 he was part of the team coordinating the African-European Erasmus Mundus Master Course EMMIR at the University of Oldenurg. Since February 2018 he works at Europa-Universität Flensburg.
