Program profile
The M.A. European Studies is a full-time two-year programme, which is exclusively taught in English. It is interdisciplinary and research-oriented. The programme prepares future analysts and shapers of European affairs for professional and academic careers. With a particular focus on the European Union (EU) it provides invaluable insights and experiences into contemporary European political, legal, economic and social life.

Career prospects
M.A. European Studies courses relate to practice-oriented research questions and help students to develop skills relevant to future employability. The programme prepares them to take up jobs in EU institutions, domestic institutions dealing with EU affairs, think tanks and non-governmental organizations, as well as in companies with international operations. Guest speakers from the EU institutions, dedicated career days, visits by programme alumni, internships, and the annual Brussels study trip provide opportunities to connect with future employers.
