The Vocational Education section of the institute deals with all issues relevant to vocational education in all teaching environments, research as well as in teaching.

These include:

• Theory and practice of vocational training
• The foundations of educational science
• The vocational transition system and vocational training
• Advanced educational training
• Vocational training research

These areas are examined in their historical and international context.
