Darius (he/him) is a doctoral researcher and part of the working group "Climate and Energy Policies" of Research Department 3 at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. His research focuses on policy instruments to decarbonise the European basic materials industry. Before commencing the PhD, he graduated with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Technology Policy and gained policy experience during internships at the European Commission and the German Federal Government. Darius’ research is funded by the Foundation of German Business.
