Curriculum vitae
Karlo Hainsch is a research associate at the Workgroup for Infrastructure Policy at TU Berlin since 2019 and is simultaneously doing his PhD in the CoalExit research group on topics related to energy system modeling as well as decarbonization scenarios with a focus on the transport sector. As one of the original developers of the open-source energy system model GENeSYS-MOD, he was and is part of numerous projects (including openENTRANCE and open MODEX) and teaches in the areas of energy system modeling and operations research.
He did his Bachelor and Master in Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on energy and resources during his Master. As part of his studies he spent one year at the University of Maryland and was Energy Economics Group at the Paul-Scherrer Institute in Switzerland.
