Curriculum vitae
Andrea is an associated researcher in the CoalExit group since August 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of California - Los Angeles. Her research focuses on the geographies, politics, and regulation of resource extraction and energy transitions from an international perspective. Andrea's dissertation analysed the geographic political economy of phasing out coal in Germany. In the CoalExit group, she collaborates on projects about the energy, economic, and equity challenges to decarbonising fossil fuel-rich developing countries and advancing towards a more managed decline in production.
