Research funding advisory services

ICES offers advisory support to EUF researchers throughout the funding application process, from the initial project idea through to the completed application, and supports them with project administration.

Advice and support on obtaining research funding

We help identify suitable funding sources for existing project ideas, provide information on specific calls, support finding project partners, and organize informational events.

Application and submission

During the project funding application and submission phase, we check to ensure that formal requirements have been met, edit the content of the application, and support affiliated researchers with budget planning and the development of a financial plan. In addition, we offer further training on all aspects of the application process.

In the event of a successful funding application, we support EUF researchers with the administration and management of the acquired funds and assist them with the review of funding agency regulations and EUF guidelines. We also offer on-site advisory support for the organization of project meetings, workshops and conferences.

Please note that the budget plan of each proposal has to be approved by the EUF financial department. The Finance Department must be informed about the project at an early stage. Please submit the complete application (final version) to the Finance Department with the personnel cost calculations of the Human Resources Department and the tender documents/funding guidelines at least one week before the official submission date.
