Practice Day in the International Management Study Programs

For the first time in HeSe 2019/20, a "practical day" was held in the B.A. International Management and M.A. International Management Studies programs. In cooperation with Fit4Jobs, an Interreg project of the Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Nordfriesland mbH, an excursion to two regional companies was offered:

In Tønder, Denmark, the global aluminum company Norsk Hydro ASA has two branches. Norsk Hydro operates in forty countries and employs around 35,000 people. In the municipality of Tønder, Norsk Hydro is the second largest company with 700 employees and supplies the automotive and air conditioning industries in particular.

In Viöl, the company weidezaun.info, which belongs to VOSS GmbH & Co. KG, opened its doors. The Voss GmbH & Co. KG is a family business that was founded in 1981. Since the launch of the first online presence of the company Weidezaun.info in 2002, the company has grown from then 6 to now 187 employees* from 16 nations and generates sales in the double-digit million range.

The next practice day, which was scheduled for May 2020, unfortunately has to be cancelled due to the restrictions to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
