The Jackstädt-Zentrum Flensburg (JZF) combines research, teaching and transfer activities of the economics departments of the two Flensburg universities with a focus on entrepreneurship and medium-sized businesses.
Through a variety of events and cooperation projects, we ensure visibility and interaction between students and regional companies while meeting the needs of both interest groups:
Students are looking for practical insights in teaching and research during their studies, student jobs, internships, topics for theses and career entry opportunities after graduation.
Companies are looking for well-trained junior staff and aim for a higher profile on campus; they are also interested in new methods and findings that they can take up in their company practice.
Teaching, research and transfer are closely interlinked at the JZF. For ten years, the center has been the initiator of more than 30 funded research and transfer projects.
