Description
Target Group
The Finnish A1.1 course is suitable for participants without prior knowledge.
Course Content
The course primarily focuses on imparting basic knowledge of the Finnish language and providing an insight into the country's culture. The topics covered in the A1.1 course include greetings and introductions, asking for help when something is not understood, inquiring about well-being, asking about age, address, or price, describing people's characteristics, talking about one's family, months, seasons, and weather. Additionally, we will learn useful phrases for interactions. Grammatically, the course covers pronunciation, questions, negation, basic numbers, simple verb forms, and the first cases.
Course Format
The course is conducted in a hybrid format. Before the start date, the instructor will send the participants detailed information about the first session. Further in-person and online sessions will be scheduled in consultation with the participants.
