The Graduate Center (GraZ) at Europa-Universität Flensburg

GraZ is an interdisciplinary support center for researchers in qualification phases at Europa-Universität Flensburg. Especially geared towards doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, habilitation candidates, and junior professors, the center provides support in the form of interdisciplinary training, information, networking, and exchange opportunities.

As a complement to the subject-specific training provided by EUF's academic faculties, GraZ offers an interdisciplinary qualification program focused on research support and academic communication, as well as career planning and development both within and beyond academia.

In addition to its own program offerings, the GraZ serves as a hub for interdisciplinary training, support, and networking resources for EUF researchers in qualification phases. Provided by the university's flagship research centers, the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer, the Competence Center for Study and Teaching, the Equal Opportunities Unit, the Language Center, the Career Center, DokNet, as well as other groups and institutions, the GraZ program offerings encompass all aspects of doctoral study, postdoctoral research, and the path to professorship.

GraZ serves as a central platform that consolidates the cross-disciplinary training, support, and networking opportunities available to researchers in various qualification phases across the university. This includes resources from EUF's flagship research centers, the Research and Knowledge Transfer Office, the Competence Center for Studies and Teaching, the Equality Office, the Language Center, the Career Service, and DokNet.
