To achieve your goal of becoming a teacher, you will begin with the B.A. in Educational Sciences. Over six semesters, you will study two subjects and, as a third mandatory subject, "Education, Teaching, Society." Please pay close attention to your subject combination at the start of your studies, as not all combinations are suitable for every school type.
After completing your bachelor's degree, you will proceed to the Master of Education. The school type for which you obtain your teaching qualification depends on your chosen master's program. At our university, you can acquire teaching qualifications for all school types, making us unique in Schleswig-Holstein!
The Master's degree course in Educational Science - Education in Europe focuses on extracurricular education throughout Europe. You can choose between the specializations "Education in Childhood and Adolescence" and "Education in Adulthood". These specializations are embedded in in-depth studies on general educational science, discussions of European educational policy and studies on intercultural education and cultural comparisons.
