The EUF Centre for Irish Studies had its official inauguration on November 8, 2023!

Nested under the umbrella of the Interdisciplinary Centre for European Studies, the EUF Centre for Irish Studies aims to bring together interdisciplinary research on Ireland, Irish-German/Irish-European relations, and the Irish diaspora, primarily in the fields of the humanities and the social sciences. 

We offer a rich programme of academic and cultural activities, including summer schools, reading groups, author visits, research colloquia, and celebrations of all things Irish and Irish-adjacent.
