Veröffentlichung des Datensatzes „Rassistische Realitäten"
Berlin: Deutsches Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung (DeZIM).
The dataset "racist realities" is based on a computer-assisted telephone interview on the subject of racism in Germany. The cross-sectional survey was conducted between April and August 2021. The sample for the survey was randomly drawn by using a dual-frame approach that comprised of both landline and mobile phone numbers, and included respondents aged 14 or older. The study was conceived by the German Centre for Integration and Migration Research (Deutsches Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung e.V., or DeZIM) as part of the German National Monitoring of Discrimination and Racism (NaDiRa). The market and opinion research institute BIK ASCHPURWIS + BEHRENS GmbH was commissioned to conduct the survey. The provided data focuses on the question on how the German population deals with the topic of racism. This includes direct and mediated experiences of racism, contact to racialized persons, racist attitudes, the acknowledgement and denial of racism in Germany as well as antiracist engagement.
