Curriculum vitae
Between 2008 and 2015 Ilka Cußmann studied Energy and Environmental Management at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and University of Flensburg. During her Bachelor studies she studied a semester abroad at the Reykjavik University in Island where she focused on economic sciences.
Afterwards she completed an internship at the company juwi Research & Development GmbH for six month in the field of business development for European electricity markets.
Ilka Cußmann wrote her Bachelorthesis about possibilities to reactivate a historical hydropower site within the city of Flensburg considering ecological, technical and economic aspects. In her Masterthesis for Next Kraftwerke GmbH she evaluated the political and economic conditions for a market entry of virtual power plants in Switzerland.
Since October 2015 Ilka Cußmann works at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences as an research assistant in the research project open_eGo.
