The team of the Department of Special Education in the Field of Learning (responsible for the BA Educational Sciences and the M. Ed. Special Education in the field of Special Education for Learning) includes Prof. Dr. Marie-Christine Vierbuchen and the staff members Dr. Kristina Clausen-Suhr, Dr. Kai Uwe Wollenweber, Yrsa Duborg, Andrea Anderson and Marieke Pein. The members of the department offer courses in special education for learning and each have different professional backgrounds. This allows many different exciting and important subject areas to be covered. Teachers from special education practice contribute to the quality assurance of teaching by closely linking theory with practice-oriented courses. In addition, doctoral students and undergraduates are involved in the department's research projects and link their research focus to the department's teaching tasks.
