Research and Networking Projects
The current scientific activities of the department members are guided by the question of how students with learning support needs can be best assisted in regular schools. The research efforts are based on the hypothesis that the group of students who do not achieve basic educational goals and qualifications can be reduced through an improvement in the quality of teaching and support.
To this end, diagnostic as well as support concepts and materials are developed and systematically tested. In the tradition of the mixed-methods approach, both hermeneutic and empirical approaches are profitably combined.
