Module: Elevate Your English B2.1-B2.3
This new three-part module was designed by the Language Center's English team to enable EUF students and staff to improve their English language skills during the semester break. The focus is primarily, but not exclusively, on English for academic purposes.
We reward exceptional performances!
Students of educational sciences who perform very well in the Elevate Your English module are rewarded with a TOEFL ITP test. The costs for the test will be covered by the Language Center, so that nothing will stand in the way of your semester abroad (see requirements below).

Elevate Your English B2.1
Target Group:
The Elevate Your English B2.1 course is designed for any student but specifically for education students who need to brush up or prepare their English skills for study abroad or students who do not want to lose the English they have spent the last 12 years gaining.
Content:
Elevate Your English level B2.1 is part one of the three level Elevate Your English module offered by the EUF Language Center. Join us for an intensive three week four hours per day course to maintain and build on the English you have learned in high school and elsewhere. This course is rooted in an English for academic purposes context, but is more than suitable for everyday communication in English. Prepare yourself for study-abroad by learning the English skills necessary for taking a TOEFL ITP, learning academic level vocabulary, and putting into practice grammar knowledge, or just come and expand your knowledge and practice the skills of English.
This module consists of three levels, of which this is the first. The B2.2 course will be offered in the Spring semester so that you can continue on your English learning journey.
Assessment:
Regular and active participation in the class.
Completion of homework assignments.
Final exam on the last day of class.
This course consists of 60 classroom hours.

Requirements for Cost Coverage
In order for the costs of the TOEFL ITP test to be covered, the following criteria must be met:
- Two successfully completed modules
- An average grade of 1.7 in the modules
- This offer is only valid for students of Educational Sciences.
