"Go East" summer schools 2024

Within the "Go East" initiative, the DAAD would like to support more students from Germany for study and research stays in the countries of Central, Southeast and Eastern Europe as well as the South Caucasus and Central Asia. The DAAD supports German students who wish to take part in summer and winter schools. The program is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Summer School in Graz (Austria)

The Graz International Summer School Seggau is aimed at students of all disciplines who wish to deepen their understanding of current European and international events by analysing and discussing global developments and challenges in the context of transformation processes and demographic change, taking into account aspects of individual, social, political, religious, cultural, literary, regional, economic, cohort-related and national identities.

Summer School in Strasbourg (France)

This summer, the International Office of the University of Strasbourg is offering the course ‘The Europein Identity: Past, Present and Future’, which gives students an insight into European culture, politics, law and history.

Summer School in Linköping (Sweden)

Linköping University offers a summer school where students can choose from 7 courses taught in English. In addition to the academic courses, a variety of activities are offered.
