Organization of Occupational Safety at EUF

The most important step in organizing occupational safety is the formal delegation of duties from the Executive Board to all managers at EUF. By virtue of their position, these individuals already hold these responsibilities.

The purpose of the formal delegation is to raise awareness of these duties among those affected. By the way, you are considered a manager as soon as you employ even just one student assistant.

In carrying out the resulting tasks, managers at EUF are supported and advised by the Occupational Safety Specialist, the Company Physician, and the Head of the Department for Building Management and Infrastructure.

The three most important responsibilities of managers are:

Note

If changes are made to a workplace that affect the level of risk, the three points mentioned above must be carried out again. This may be necessary, for example, due to new work equipment or procedures.
