Expressivity in an endangered language: the case of echo words in Scots
OSL 247
The European University of Flensburg is located in the multilingual German-Danish border region. Its Center for Small and Regional Languages (KURS) is dedicated to researching the unusual regional language situation and comparable language constellations. The diversity of small and regional languages, including minority languages, is a pan-European phenomenon.
The Research Center for Small and Regional Languages in Flensburg has a European perspective. The aim is to create a basis for the comparative expansion and internationalization of current regional research.
