About us

The Centre for Research on Education, Teaching, Schooling and Socialisation (ZeBUSS) is one of two profiling research centres at the Europa-Universität Flensburg. The aim of ZeBUSS is to establish, support and promote research, especially basic research. ZeBUSS uses the central concepts of education and socialisation to investigate processes in and out of school. This links the perspectives on growing up and the fields of action that are involved here (school, family, youth welfare, associations). This makes it possible to look at education and socialisation not only in a product-oriented way with a view to performance or performance comparisons. Rather, the educational and socialisation processes with their social embedding and individual orientations are taken into consideration.
