The DFG Project Grant (Sachbeihilfe) is Germany’s most popular topic-open funding format for basic research. Are you considering to submit a Sachbeihilfe proposal or are already working on it, then our DFG Antragswerkstatt in Spring Semester 2025 can support you along your way to submitting the proposal! This workshop, organized by the EUF’s three core research centres ZeBUSS, ICES and CREST, is designed for post-doctoral researchers and professors, aiming to complete a DFG proposal over the course of the semester. Participants will meet every 3-4 weeks for 1.5 hours via Webex, forming interdisciplinary or subject-specific groups of 2-3 people. Each session will cover one or more chapters in the proposal template with a peer-to-peer discussion of the participants’ proposal sections followed by a brief input from Simone Onur and Maria Schwab about the next chapter. Between sessions, participants will write the designated proposal section and share it a few days before the next meeting for peer review. Concrete dates and organizational details will be determined in the first session.
