We attach great importance to high-quality teaching in which we take up current research results and discuss and reflect on them with students. We develop theoretical foundations and empirical findings based on a humanistic view of the individual that is oriented towards competence. We discuss and simulate practical implementation options and - as far as possible in a university context - test and reflect on them in practical fields.
In cooperation with the Department of Education and Teaching Methods for the Promotion of Emotional and Social Development (Prof. Dr. habil. Joachim Bröcher & team), we design the Emotional-Social Development specialization in the BA and MA courses.
Information on final theses
We look forward to supervising your thesis! We prefer to offer topics in the context of our projects. Within these projects, you will develop your own research question. To work on this, you decide on a scientific approach in consultation with the supervisor. We have created guides for various forms of empirical theses, which you can download here. Please read the guides carefully and consistently consider the aspects listed there in your thesis.
